Contacting the Board of Education

The Board of Education is composed of five elected members and two appointed student members. The Board is the policy-making body and the official representative of the people for kindergarten through twelfth-grade public education in Claremont. Elected Board members serve four-year terms and the student members serve a one-year term.  Board members must be qualified electors residing within the boundaries of the school district. Elections are held biennially. Three Board members are elected one year. Two years later, two other Board members are elected. The student members are appointed by the Board each year.

Currently, due to COVID-19 restrictions, Board Meetings are being held virtually on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Regular meetings usually begin with Closed Session at 6:30 p.m., followed by Open Session at 7:00 p.m.

You may call (909) 398-0691 for specific dates and times.
