Teaching and Technology Related Experiences:

I have been teaching now for eight years: one year at Cal Poly in the Marketing Department; six years at Damien High School in the math department (including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, AP Statistics, and Business); and one year at Claremont High School in the business department.  I also worked as a lab assistant in the physics department at Cal Poly Pomona for nine years.  As an assistant I built, designed, set up, and improved the various labs and equipment used by the students in the classroom.  As a math teacher I learned how to use and program the graphing calculators offered by Texas Instruments (TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, and TI-92).

Presently, at Claremont High School, I teach computer education and keyboarding.  The course content in Computer Education includes learning Windows 95, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.  Students also engage in activities on the internet through a wide variety of exercises as well as a stock portfolio exercise.
