STUDENTS

This Friday the Scoliosis screenings for 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys will be done during P.E. class. If your parent does not want you to participate in the screening, please turn in a written note to the Health Office no later than Friday morning before the 1st bell.

February is Make a New Friend Here at El Roble month. This means that our annual Compatibility questionnaires will be distributed in your SSR classes next week....so don't be left out on other's lists, and fill one out for free:) Results will be available the 3rd week in February for $2.00. More info to come.

El Roble's Got Talent! This year's Talent Show will be next Wed. Feb 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the MPR. Tickets will be sold at the door only on a first come first serve basis for $3.00. Each year this is a sold out event with only 250 tickets sold. Snacks will also be on sale:) Don't miss this fun night!

The Cheerleaders will be selling Podge's Smoothies today in front of the school right after 7th period. Come support your cheer squad and get a great treat!

There will be a CJSF meeting today at 2:30 p.m. in the MPR.

Students: The 2nd clue for the library "Name the Book" contest is: The main character, named Helen, likes to draw. Remember, the prize is a large candy bar:).

The Panthers will be playing Alta Loma here at 3:00 p.m. so come and cheer on your teams:) GO PANTHERS!! The cheerleaders will be having a bake sale at the game. Don't miss out on some great goodies!

Tomorrow be sure to stop by and say hi to Chaparral Principal Mrs. Kerns at lunchtime. She will be at the grill with Chef Grier cooking up some great hamburgers and hotdogs:).

T.R.A.C.K.S.

The TAC will be hosting a 5 man flag football tournament at 2:15 p.m. at the TAC. Make sure you make it out as all teams must turn in their team sheet tomorrow right after school!

Do you like to challenge your mind? If so come to the TAC today for the TAC Spelling Bee. All winners will receive a prize for their effort:).

Come create your own ice cream at the TAC tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. during our COLD STONE DAY. The cost is $1.50. Don't miss out!

The TAC will be hosting a Valentine's Dance Friday, Feb. 15th from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. The dance will be held in the large reception hall next to the YAC. Be sure to get your tickets early.
