STUDENTS

Renaissance students: Great job on a fantastic field trip! You were well behave and the theatre looked great:)

Students are not to "burrito" backpacks and will be referred to Mr. Patterson.

Good job El Roble! You've raised a significant amount of money already! Go home this weekend and search for spare change that you may have. Remember that every penny goes towards helping people like Cory, our honored hero, battle cancer. Have a wonderful weekend and keep bringing in those pennies!

CJSF members: If you would like to purchase a CJSF sweatshirt, please see Mrs. Lyn in room 308 this week for an order form.

CJSF members: Be sure to pick up your permission slips at the student window for the field trip to Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. We will watch an exciting movie and spend the rest of the time shopping.:) Permission slips and donations are due by Wed. Jan. 23rd, by 4:00 p.m. On Fri. Jan. 25th you will meet at the flagpole right after school and will leave promptly at 12:45 p.m.

Come to the Talent Show tryouts in the MPR right after school next Wed., Jan. 23 and Thurs., Jan. 24th from 2:20 to 3:00 p.m. Be sure you practice your act for the Talent show because the winner will receive $25 in cash, 2nd place will receive $15 and 3rd place will receive $10. We hope to see you there. See Mrs. Hertenstein in room 304 for more details:).

Mideract: Let's get together. Our 1st meeting of the year is next Wed. Jan. 23rd at 2: 30 p.m. in room 309:).

And in El Roble Sports: Here is the lowdown on our great week in sports: Wed. was a great day to pay a visit to Upland Jr. High. Our Panthers went over and won 3 out of 4 games. The 8th grade boys won 27-21. They are currently at 3 wins 0 losses. The 8th grade girls lost 14-9. The 7th grade boys won 54-8 and are currently at 2 wins and 1 loss. They scored 38-14 at Alta Loma on Tuesday. The 7th grade girls won 56-6 keeping their undefeated record alive...3-0! Keep up the good work, but compete even harder in the classroom! Go Panthers!

Just a reminder that Monday is Martin Luther King Day and there will be no school. We will see you Tuesday:)

T.R.A.C.K.S.

The TAC will host a Family Dinner Night tonight at 6:30 p.m. Bring your parents, guardians, and or adult mentors and show them what happens at the TAC and enjoy a tasty meal. Please sign up this week:)

The TAC will be hosting a 5 man flag football tournament Jan. 30th @ 2:15 p.m. at the TAC. Prizes go to the 1st and 2nd team only! Please sign up your team at the TAC:)
