The Winter Wonderland Dance is next Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wristbands will go on sale next Wed. after school, and Thursday before and after school only. The cost is $3.00. Wristbands will not be available at the door. This will be a great dance with food and drinks so don't disappoint Santa, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
There will be no 8th period classes next week as counselors are creating new class schedules. The schedules will be distributed to students and new 8th period classes will begin the week of Dec. 15th.
Students are invited to submit their original artwork and poetry for publication in this year's yearbook. Poetry is to be 20 lines or less. Artwork is to be on unlined paper in black ink. Please submit your work to Ms. McGourty-Riggs in room 405 by December 19th.
Attention all students: Are you a good speller? You are invited to participate in El Roble's 1st Spelling Bee. If you are interested, please sign up in room 308 by Friday, Dec. 19th.
If you are trying out for El Roble's girls and boys basketball you need to have a completed athletic clearance form and get a sport's physical. Forms are available at the student window You will not be allowed to tryout without one. Tryouts begin on Tuesday and students are to be dressed in PE clothes ready to go and meet in the gym by 2:30 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS
