Use of Microcomputers: It is the intent of the Claremont Unified School District to adhere to the copyright laws of the United States. To assure compliance with current federal law, the Board of Education has adopted a policy that states that the District must hold rights for any program used on District-owned computers. The policy continues with a statement that District machines cannot be used to make illegal copies of programs. In addition, the District policy states that no student shall use District property to illegally access any database or electronic bulletin boards.
