Valedictorian Alexis Arnold Aims to Stay Active at UCLA

Like the other students in the top ten of her class, valedictorian Alexis Arnold can boast a busy schedule, decorated list of achievements, and impressive GPA. Unlike other students of this caliber, however, Arnold is proud to admit that she is well-rounded and completely self-motivated, largely uninfluenced by her parents or outside pressure. Alexis views being valedictorian as an honor that will further her motivation to continue working hard next year at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Salutatorian Jeffrey Kwan Engineers Excellence

Salutatorian Jeffrey Kwan adheres to three rules of thumb. One: Don’t talk about Fight Club. Two: Run with friends. Three: When integrating, remember to add the C. With these three guidelines in mind and diploma in hand, Kwan parts from CHS taking with him his unforgettable plethora of memories and academic successes.
“Though it had its ups and downs, my four years at CHS have been a wonderful transition into college. There are a lot of great aspects to this school,” Kwan said. “There are always safety nets built under us.”
