What to expect this year: Your girls have committed themselves to group that will need lots of time and effort put into it and they can't do it without your help. Our competition season starts at the beginning of February please be ready for it. There will also be other performances throughout the year. Competitions and running a show choir are not inexpensive. In order to lower the cost for yourselves we will be having many fundraisers. Although they are not the most enjoyable part of show choir they are necessary, so please help your girls.
What the girls will need: These are the items that your girls will be using throughout the year in practices and/or performances: make-up warm up out fit- consisting of black warm up pants, and a sweatshirt shoes, character shoes are required and other dance shoes might be necessary tights, we use the Danskin, suntan kind, sometimes it's nice to have 2 pair, one for practice and one for performances Show Dress Briefs T-shirts, each girl needs two, one for practice and one for competition, they will be purchased through the class any extra performing items, to be announced during the course of the year
What we need from all parents: We need help from all parents in order to make this choir work. The things we need are: Commitment- we can't do anything without this Cooperation- things can get frustrating sometimes but stick with us, we'll work it out Help- sometimes there are things that teenagers just can't get done by themselves, and that's where you come in, please help your girls with what they need to do to make this a successful and exciting year. Support- Stick behind us, or sit in front of us and cheer, which ever it is try to be there for us, we need you there.
