Annual Register of Grant Support: A Directory of Funding Sources.
This directory includes details of the grant support programs of government agencies, public and private foundations, corporations, community trusts, unions, educational and professional associations, and special interest organizations. Includes chapter on program planning and proposal writing.
The Big Book of Library Grant Money: Profiles of 1,471 Private and Corporate Foundations and Direct Corporate Givers Receptive to Library Grant Proposals.
All of the funders in the directory have either made grants to libraries within the last several reporting periods or have listed libraries as a typical recipient category on their questionnaires.

A directory of State agency grants. Access provided by table of contents subject listing and general alphabetical listing.
Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance.
The federal government's guide to all funding programs. The CFDA number consists of two digits that identify the agency (e.g., the Educational Department is 84 and the Health and Human Services Department is 93) and a decimal point followed by three digits that identify the specific program. Some CFDA numbers -- primarily those in the Education Department section -- end in letters to differentiate among multiple grant competitions under a single program. Programs that have numbers ending in 999 have not yet been assigned permanent CFDA numbers.

This catalog is a compilation of information about state and federal grants available through the California Department of Education.
Catalog of Private Foundations, Community Foundations, and Corporate Giving Programs.
This catalog lists only foundations and corporate giving programs that have identified giving to education as a focus.
Corporate Giving Directory.
It provides detailed descriptive profiles of over 500 of the largest and most important corporate charitable giving programs in the U.S. Profiles include typical recipients, limitations, how to approach them, and recent grants.
The Distance Learning Funding Sourcebook : A Guide to Foundation, Corporate and Government Support for Telecommunications and the New Media.EDGAR: Education Department General Administrative Regulations.
In its entirety, EDGAR applies only to programs of the U.S. Department of Education. Other Federal programs described in The Guide to Federal Assistance may be affected by some of the regulations included in EDGAR - specifically those regarding intergovernmental review, lobbying activities, and provision of a drug-free workplace.
Federal Grants Management Handbook.
The handbook consists of two parts: "Current Developments", a monthly newsletter on significant developments, legislative activities, General Accounting Office reports and decisions handed down by the courts and agency grant appeals boards. "Basic Grants Management Guide" includes government-wide regulations and guidelines which are applicable or relevant to all federal grants and grant programs.

A comprehensive listing of private U.S. foundations which provide financial assistance to individuals. 1,237 foundations are listed.
The Foundation 1000: In-Depth Profiles of the 1000 Largest U.S. Foundations.
This book provides grantseekers with the facts they need to identify, research, and contact appropriate funding sources among the nation's 1,000 largest foundations. These foundations account for approximately 60 percent of all foundation grant dollars awarded in a given year.
Guide to Federal Funding for Education.
The Guide provides detailed descriptions of over 300 federal programs which offer financial assistance to state and local educational agencies, postsecondary institutions and other public and private organizations working in the field of education. The Guide is organized by function and includes a Subject Index and CFDA Index (cross-references programs to comparable entries in the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance).

Making the Grant Process Work: A Collection of Federal Administration Guidelines.
Grant management guidelines to help grantees follow the rules and limitations for how the money may be spent and must be accounted for. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the main overseer of federal grant administration, has set standards and processes for managing federal funds, covering such issues as dealing with audits, cost principles and indirect cost rates.
