Many friends and colleagues have stated this person is responsive to the needs of staff, and students and exhibits a positive attitude when dealing with the community.
Another associate states that this person is an incredible individual who is kind, efficient and professional.
A colleague shares, "This person goes beyond the call of duty in a positive and cheerful way".
A comment often heard, "This colleague has a very professional attitude and it is obvious that she is well acquainted with the environment in which she works."
This person is a very dedicated employee and is well liked and always concerned about the welfare of students and fellow workers. This District is indeed very fortunate to have this wonderful person in its employ.
Another statement often repeated is that this person is a highly motivated employee. This peer's presence on site has had a direct impact on office and school morale.
This employee was hired in 1978 as a Clerk Stenographer at Claremont High School. She was School Support Secretary for the 1989 Summer School Program. In the fall of 1989 she became Account Clerk III and continued until her recent retirement. She has served as a volunteer in many different capacities.
In May 1992, she was selected as Claremont CSEA Chapter 200 Employee of the Year. Those who nominated her described her as a person who protects their rights and has brought pride to classified employees. In her function as a CSEA job steward she was always fair, consistent and caring. Her energies were much appreciated.
Now that her retirement is effective, she will be sorely missed by all at Claremont High School and the District.
It is with a great deal of pleasure that I present the Claremont Unified School District Spotlight on Excellence Award to Paula Anderson.
