Quoting a supervisor, "…This employee demonstrates a consistent commitment to excellence by not allowing the word No to exist in vocabulary."

A colleague shares, "This person is an example of putting others first; is creative and thoughtful in teaching strategies which the students look forward to each day".

A comment often heard, "This colleague has a very professional attitude and it is obvious that she is a constant source of inspiration and enthusiasm."

This person is a very dedicated employee and is well liked and always concerned about the welfare of students and fellow workers. This District is indeed very fortunate to have this wonderful person in its employ.

Many friends and colleagues have stated this person is responsive to the needs of staff, and students and exhibits a positive attitude when dealing those needs.

The comment has been made that beyond her teaching duties, this colleague teaches good character, both intentionally and by example.

Another supervisor has said that the bar of excellence has been raised by this person's employment in the Claremont Unified School District. Consistently all duties have been performed above and beyond the standard expectations. The immense care and pride in the quality of work has affected all staff and students in a positive manner.

An incredible individual: kind, efficient and professional. Her principal was characteristically modest and wowed that she would be recognized by the Spotlight.

It is with a great deal of pleasure that I present the Claremont Unified School District Spotlight on Excellence Award to Debbie Coyle, Physical Development Program Specialist at Sumner Elementary School.
