“Class Act” “A delight to work with” “Responsibilities are handled without another word needed.”

“Gets the job done” “A wonderful person - compassionate and caring.”

This person is admired by all who come in contact with him, administrators, colleagues, parents, the community and students.

It can be noted that this teacher works well with others and is creative and resourceful in his ability to make long needed changes and improvements in the programs at his site. Because of the hard work, dedication and support to his staff, this school’s students and community have benefited tremendously.

This person began as an instructional assistant for special education at Danbury in 1992 and was hired as a teacher in 1995. This individual has carried the duties of Department Chair, Adult School Teacher, summer school program teacher, and assistant coach for the Claremont High School football program. Adding to his repertoire, he is now the “aka Athletic Director” at El Roble by taking on the challenge to develop an appropriate after schools sports program that has become very successful.

“In a world in desperate need of role models, he is the standard.” “He excels in a number of areas; teacher, coach, father, and friend.”

It is with great pleasure that I present the Claremont Unified School District Spotlight on Excellence Award to an extraordinary person and a physical education teacher at El Roble Intermediate School, Chris Molloy!
