Code of Conduct for Elementary Schools
In order to provide a safe and productive learning environment at all elementary schools in the Claremont Unified School District, a climate is created in which optimal learning will occur. This means all elementary school students will:
- Act in a safe and responsible manner
- Respect the rights and property of others
- Come to school ready, willing and prepared to learn
- Display honesty, integrity and caring at all times
Since all individuals are unique, no one procedure, method or response to a given situation is appropriate in every case. In helping a child develop individual responsibility and leadership, while upholding the above mentioned Code of Conduct, each school has established guidelines that are contained in the Student Parent Handbook.
