Code of Conduct For Elementary School Students

Code of Conduct

In order to provide a safe and productive learning environment at all elementary schools in the Claremont Unified School District, a climate is created in which optimal learning will occur. This means all elementary school students will:

  1. Act in a safe and responsible manner
  2. Respect the rights and property of others
  3. Come to school ready, willing and prepared to learn
  4. Display honesty, integrity and caring at all times

Since all individuals are unique, no one procedure, method or response to a given situation is appropriate in every case. In helping a child develop individual responsibility and leadership, while upholding the above mentioned Code of Conduct, each school has established guidelines that are contained in the Student Parent Handbook.
