Mission
The mission of the Office of Secondary Education is to support the mission and vision of the Educational Services Division by providing specialized K-12 programs that enhance and strengthen the learning experience for our students and align with the goals of the Board of Trustees.
Responsibilites
The major responsibility of the office and its director is the planning, organization and implementation initially of two major projects: The Career Technical Education Center to be located at the La Puerta Elementary site, and the infusion of a World Language Program at all elementary schools in the district. Both projects are in the advanced planning stages with projected launch dates of fall, 2008 for initial stages, and full implementation by fall, 2009. Other projects will be added as these are completed. This page will be updated as these projects come on line.
