About Claremont Unified School District
Mission Statement
We believe that all students are capable of achieving success in learning and contributing to the welfare of a diverse and interdependent world. Our students should leave our schools with the self-esteem that comes from a genuine sense of accomplishment and with a wide range of career and educational opportunities available to them. In order to attain this mission, our schools will provide a climate that:
- promotes clear expectations of high academic achievement and fosters responsibility, self-reliance, and creativity;
- enhances the personal, ethical, civic, and cultural development of all students;
- emphasizes the joy of learning so that enthusiasm for knowledge becomes a lifelong pursuit;
- encourages mutual trust, respect, and support among all members of the educational community with the sense that we are working toward the common purpose of bringing this mission to life.
